“You can conquer almost any fear if you will only make up your mind to do so. For remember, fear doesn’t exist anywhere except in the mind.  – Dale Carnegie”

Before we begin ,we would like to inform you that their are no elevators to success, their are stairs and you have to walk through them to reach to the level of understanding where everything will be possibility. In short, you have to read through the entire post, attempt to skim the post will not deliver the influence and effect that we would like you to have.Just trust your instinct and stay on course.

Mind power

Our mind is a good servant but a bad master. Before we understand our mind we need to understand our brain structure. We all know that the brain is divided among various regions:

In mammalian brain anatomy, the prefrontal cortex (PFC) is the cerebral cortex which covers the front part of the frontal lobe. Many authors have indicated an integral link between a person’s will to live, personality and the functions of the prefrontal cortex. This brain region has been implicated in planning complex cognitive behavior, personality expression, decision making, and moderating social behaviour. The basic activity of this brain region is considered to be orchestration of thoughts and actions in accordance with internal goals. The most typical psychological term for functions carried out by the prefrontal cortex area is executive function. Executive function relates to abilities to differentiate among conflicting thoughts, determine good and bad, better and best, same and different, future consequences of current activities, working toward a defined goal, prediction of outcomes, expectation based on actions, and social “control” (the ability to suppress urges that, if not suppressed, could lead to socially unacceptable outcomes). The subconscious on the other hand has been reasoned to believe to deal with repetitive behaviors like driving a car, eating lunch while watching TV etc. These small actions which if had to be consciously thought about all the time  could have lead to people going crazy.

To understand these functions more clearly,we have encountered a blog written by Graham Stoney who claims to be a comedy therapist and has written a wonderful guide of how our brain works. The guide is simple to understand and devours human history in few pages. You can click on Graham Stoney-A Practical Guide to How your brain works to be redirected to his blog. This will be the most interesting read for all those out there who are beginning to learn about themselves ,particularly the mind.

After reading the above article we would suggest you to watch the following video and think about it ,take notes or discuss with your conscious mind the truth of the fact that you want to believe and the part of it that you don’t want to believe, this is important as what you will start believing now will become your reality in the near future.
